The Holiday Harvest Farmers Markets bring the community and our local producers together for a festival of local food and late-season harvests. This year we have three markets, two online order cycles, more than twenty local farmers and producers, and an abundance of locally grown produce and farm products.
You can expect fresh, local and late-season vegetables such as salad greens, Swiss chard and kale; Brussels sprouts, cabbage, turnips, beets and radishes; potatoes, onions, shallots; carrots, fresh herbs, sweet potatoes, parsnips and rutabagas. Expect a few surprises, too. Goat cheese truffles, fresh ginger, and wild fruit jams and jellies to just name a few. Producers also will have meats, cheeses, breads, and more.
