Melons, squash, tomtatoes and more - Ewing, NE Owned by Tim and Frank Lambert of Chambers, NE has been in existence since the mid sixties as a producer of fresh produce, mainly melons. The roots of the business go back much further to the late ninteenth and early twentieth centuries when our great grandfather L.G. Lambert homesteaded the farm. He grew melons, squash, grapes, all kinds of cherries, berries, had an applie and pear orchard and kept bees. On tree, a Keifer pear, still produces fruit and was planted in the 1890's.
